A Success story of Ridhima Arora

Ridhima Arora is the founder of Namhya foods, a ayurveda based health and wellness startup. There is her successful story of Namhya foods, where people think ayurveda is for saint.

Ridhima Arora, a remarkable entrepreneur, exemplifies resilience and determination. Here’s her inspiring success story:

Three years ago, at the age of 26, Ridhima made a life-altering decision. She abandoned her fledgling corporate career to be near her ailing father, who had been diagnosed with liver cirrhosis and given just six months to live. Her father’s health became her top priority, and she embarked on a journey that would change her life forever.

Ridhima combined allopathic treatment with a natural diet, including traditional immunity boosters like “harad ka pani” (herb-infused water) and giloy water. Miraculously, her father’s health improved significantly. This experience ignited her passion for holistic healing and Ayurveda.

Drawing from her family’s deep-rooted connection with Ayurveda (her grandfather had started a small store selling natural herbs and ayurvedic ingredients in Jammu), Ridhima founded Namhya Foods Private Ltd. in January 2020. Namhya specializes in healthy food items made with herbs and ayurvedic ingredients.

The timing was serendipitous—amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for immunity boosters surged. Namhya rode this wave and achieved remarkable success. Within a year, the company generated Rs 1 crore in revenue. Ridhima’s vision and commitment not only saved her father’s life but also created a thriving business that bridges the gap between tasty food and health.

Her journey reminds us that sometimes the most profound transformations arise from adversity and compassion.
