Marilyn Mendoza (Maya) was born and raised in Brooklyn New York. She has lived in Hawaii for forty years. Her memoir “From Agoraphobia to Zen”-uncovering the core of my anxiety and reclaiming my life, shows how one woman triumphs over severe anxiety and trauma.
