100- Year -Old Woman ,Inspires Everyone By Winning 3 Gold Medals At Americas Masters Games

Indian runner Man Kaur took almost a minute-and-a-half to complete a 100-metre race. Wait! Isn’t it too slow in international standards? Not until you know that she is 100 years old. While most people of her would be comfortable staying at home, she is a living example of the popular phrase — “age is just a state of mind”.

When Kaur finally crossed the finish line of the Americas Masters Games in Vancouver on Sunday, all her competitors — who are much younger than her — started cheering for her. She ran without stopping for once.

In the international event which is meant for athletes over 30 years of age, Kaur was the only one to participate in her age category.

Kaur took up running at the age of 93 after her 78-year-old son Gurdev Singh suggested to do her so. Gurdev, also a participant in the Master Games knew that his mother would become a star in her category.
She has won over 20 medals, 3 of them gold this week at the Americas Masters Games.
And if you are wondering what her secret to health could be, then it is the usual exercise and a good diet.
